			Thanks!

I'm assuming you're talk about the Mac one, yes? I think it's possible to change the number of decimal places via an AppleScript, so you could perhaps do it that way in the short term. But I'll certainly look into a way of doing this - thanks for the suggestion!]]>

i've had thoughts about this topic for some time, and working in the low level embedded world i can't even just deal with 8,16,32,64 bits.

I deal with 10 bit, 24 bit, name your bits. So when setting the word width, take a note from the HP48 and make it an arbitrary setting.

Fixed point math support..... This one is trickier. But when working with microcontroller i ofter switch to fixed point representations of my math, this one is more of a challenge in display, but having to remember the decimal place should stay with a slide rule.....]]>

Thanks, most of those are on my list already - there are no technical reasons why the initial ideas couldn't be done, all the support is in the backend already - they are just XML files inside the app.

Fractions is a lot harder, but I know people want it. Likewise date and time, which is just a case of coming up with a new UI.

Thanks!]]>

We don't have any flow conversions just now, but I'll consider it certainly. Therms, we've already added.

For speed, is feet per minute used in any particular industry or area? It didn't seem too common which is why we didn't include it before.

I'm hoping to add user editing to the constants soon - there are really too many to include to keep everybody happy without making them hard to access. Not sure when, but it's on the list.]]>

Please add a financial module. I'll even spend actual real cash to get it !! You should recognize that if you can get a tight-wad financial sales guy to say THAT.... you've got a hungry market out there.

Your UI is so much better than the others. I've tried and dumped a couple of the other software finance calculators here. I'm stuck still dragging my physical HP around with me.

Pleeeeeese.....

Meanwhile I use yours for everything else]]>
